I told my niece the only chore she had yesterday was her room because she was the one who messed it up. So I took her to school and she understood what her chore was when she got home. Once she got home I let her get a snack and then told her to get her room done. After two hours she comes out I’m done she said. I go to check her room and it looks clean, then I look behind her sisters crib and almost everything that was on the floor was behind there. I look at her and she looks at me “what? the floors clean.” :I was like nice try and you know doing this just made your job alot longer”. She looks at me weird “how?” Insead of actually putting everything away instead of shoving it behind your sisters crib, you now have to get everything behind here and put it all away. When it would of been faster to just put it away in the first place. She looks at me with a angry face “well you know it was already dirty behind there to!” I just look at her and said “dont make me add on another chore and just get this all cleaned”.

My older niece was eating a piece of toast. she held up a part of the toast and said look this looks like the chair that boss baby was sitting on that looked like the moon. I am just looking at the piece of crust that looks like a sad looking C and just laugh I love the imagination of kids.

I have not been feeling to well this week and haven’t had the energy to post after watching the kids. I am finally feeling better. I appreciate all of your patience.

My niece came down from her art room and brought down some papers and started assembling them. She pulled one of the bigger papers up and said this is the stage for my paper puppet show. I just sat there amazed as she put on a paper puppet show about a hair stylist and thought to myself wow this is amazing and so creative she is only 6yrs old and made this up.

During the week that I helped out my friend with her daycare my niece has become much more clingy. I can’t even sit down with out her on my lap and then she started calling me ma. I just think great, I think its time for me to spend the weekend away so she can spend more time with her mom instead. Hopefully when I return I won’t be the center of her world. Now don’t get me wrong I love that she loves me this much I just think it is important for her to see her mom like this more than me.

So this week I was helping out a friend with her daycare. She watches 12 kids and does it with great organization and patients. I admire her for being able to watch so many kids and I had the privilege of watching them to. These kids are adorable, kind, funny and sweet. I definitely loved the experience but let’s just say I don’t plan on having that many kids.
